Meet our Board of Trustees

Dr. Raja Dandekar is the founder of Loksadhana. After completing his degree (BAMS, Ayurvedacharya) in Pune he went to Chikhalgoan and established this Charitable Trust. Even after 40 years of independence Chikhalgaon was deprived of any school, electricity and roads and healthcare facilities. Dr. Raja along with his wife Mrs. Renu Dandekar took up this as a challenge and built this school, rural healthcare facility, rural infrastructure and promoted agriculture.

Shri Karandiar is a retired IAS Officer, Corporate Advisor at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. He has studied MSc Economics and MA Politics. He is known for strategic planning, project management, program management, business analysis, change management and policy analysis. 

Dr. Nitant holds a PhD in Mechanicall Engineering from Colorado State University, USA. He is a consultant in Renewable Energy and Head at Green Technologies Cell. He oversees various projects undertaken by the trust in Rural Technology. 

Kaivalya is an advocate and board of trustee of Lokmanya Public Charitable Trust, Loksadhana. He actively manages various projects that are undertaken by the trust. He has experience in Civil, Criminal, Cooperative, Consumer, Labour and Family practice.

Smt. Chetana Bal is a successful entreprenuer and runs an agro-based business independently. Her Agro-based business has provided employment to a lot of men and women in Ratnagiri District. She is known for providing leadership and direction for the organisation.
